Bella Thorne was born in Pembroke Pines, Florida on October 8, 1997. She is an American actress and singer. She has starred as the lead character in the Disney Channel series Shake It Up (2010-2013). She also starred in the films Blended (2014), The DUFF (2015), and You Get Me (2018). Bella Thorne has been nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her work on the show Shake It Up.
Bella Thorne's parents are Estelle and Patrick Thorne. Her
mother is a singer-songwriter and her father is a producer who worked with Kool
& The Gang, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Elton John. Bella has two
older brothers: Remy and Rydel.
She began her acting career at the age of 10 with a role in
Disney Channel's "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" as well as other
films and television series. In 2010, she starred in the Disney Channel
Original Movie "Shake It Up!" with Zendaya, which she said was like a
dream come true.
Thorne has been cast in several television series since 2014
including "Big Love", "Scream", and more recently,
Netflix's original series "The Kissing Booth".She has also appeared
in such films as "Blended", "Amityville: The Awakening,"
and more recently in 2018's "" where she played Veronica Hastings.”. She
also played CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel show "Shake It Up" from
2010 to 2013.
