Billie Eilish: Funny and talented

Billie Eilish was born on December 18, 2001, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Maggie Baird, who is a former actor and teacher, and Patrick O'Connell, a construction worker and former actor. She has an older brother named Finneas, who is also a singer-songwriter and producer.

 

Eilish began writing and recording music at a young age with her brother Finneas. She gained recognition in 2016 when her single "Ocean Eyes" went viral on the internet. In 2017, she released her debut EP "Don't Smile at Me," which debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart.


In 2019, Eilish released her debut album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and earned her five Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year, making her the youngest artist to win all four main categories in the same night.
