Maggie Grace is an American actress, best known for her
role as Shannon Rutherford on the television series "Lost" and as
Irina in the "Twilight" film series. She was born on September 21,
1983, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. She began her acting career in the
early 2000s, with her first major role being Shannon Rutherford on
"Lost," which ran from 2004 to 2010. After the show ended, she
appeared in several films, including "Taken," "The Choice,"
and "I Melt with You."
In 2008, she starred in the first film of the
"Twilight" series "Twilight" as Irina, a vampire member of
the Denali coven. She reprised the role in the following sequels "New
Moon","Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn Part 1"
She has won a few awards for her work on
"Lost," including a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Breakout
Performance - Female.
